Sdn Bhd launched the all-new Full Hybrid LEXUS CT 200h at their LEXUS showroom last Saturday.
Derived from the manual information booklet, the new, CT 200h welcomes drivers to "an exciting new dimension - LEXUS luxury, technology, dynamism, fusing serenity and excitement in its most compact form."
The 1.8L VVT-i petrol engine is mated to a powerful electric-motor fuelled by nickel-metal hydride batteries and equipped with the proven LEXUS Hybrid Drive technology, the CT 200h.
Speaking to the Bulletin during the launching, NBT Marketing Manager Haji Ahmad Haji Husin, said: "Basically this Hybrid is the new form of driving, the future of driving in the car industry. "For LEXUS, this is a Hybrid car, a fuel-economic and environmentally friendly car, but at the same time the power is still there.
The CT 200h's Hybrid battery voltage is 36HP or 27KW @ 201.6 volts, and the car's total system performance (combined engine and battery output) is 134HP or 100KW
The entry-level Prestige model will be well equipped, coming standard with smart start, eight airbags, dual-zone climate control, 16-inch alloy wheels, daytime running lamps, ‘two-mood two mode’ sport and eco driving functionality, cruise control, metallic paint and USB connectivity.
All other models get a reversing camera, while the Sports Luxury model also gets Active Cruise Control and Pre-Collision Safety System.
